Call answering service celebrates 20th anniversary

A call answering company has just reached a new milestone in its history and made it to its 20th anniversary.



Offering phone answering and mailbox options for a number of different clients across America, the company has gone from strength to strength since starting out over twenty years ago.

Chuck White set up the call answering company in 1990 in Riverside and both his sons- Jeff and Brian joined after finishing college. Sadly 16 years ago, Chuck passed away, leaving the company in the hands of his sons.



In an interview with The Press Enterprise, the sons share a glimpse of what is was like to come in not knowing quite how to manage the company and then turn it around.



Speaking recently Jeff explains that neither one of them came rushing into the role as they needed to first understand where things could be made more efficient. By watching staff at work and seeing how things were done, they were then able to invest in new technology and bring in a new country wide client base.



He said: "Neither one of us came in like a bull in a China shop because we really didn’t know what we were doing.



"We did utilise the people to make (the company) more productive and figure out how we (could) tweak things."



The result has seen the company invest in new technology and improvements in the telecommunications industry have brought the cost of calls from one part of the country to another much cheaper than what they were twenty years ago.



One of the pillars of their success is being able to offer a company in a particular part of the country a service that sees a local person answer their call.
